I went to see Memphis on Saturday afternoon and it was just great! A real feel good musical that follows the fame and forbidden love of a radio DJ in the 1950's, a time where rock and roll / blues music started to claim dominance in America.
I would highly recommend seeing this! The whole cast is truly talented, and Beverly Knight absolutely smashes the vocals.
Check out lastminute.com for tickets as I got a really great deal, and the assistant even upgraded our seats on arrival!
