Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, one of the UK’s best loved animal welfare charities, is proud to announce the return of its annual fundraising event, The Collars & Coats Gala Ball, at Evolution, an exclusive venue set in the grounds of Battersea Park on Friday 11th November 2011.
The Collars & Coats Gala Ball will take place in the presence of the President of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, HRH Prince Michael of Kent, GCVO accompanied by HRH Princess Michael of Kent, and will celebrate the organisation’s unparalleled work in the field of animal welfare.
This year’s event promises a spectacular night of high octane entertainmentand attended by some of the UK’s best known personalities. Last year Catherine
Tate, Amanda Holden, Alexandra Burke, Roger Daltrey CBE, Brian May,
Roger Taylor, Patti Russo, Craig Revel Horwood, Jeremy Hackett, and Mark Foster
were among the guests who helped raise vital funds to support the Home
continue its work to rehome lost, unwanted and abandoned animals.
Previous attendees and supporters include Simon Cowell and Dame Judi Dench.
The evening will begin with the
Home’s legendary Guard of Honour when some of the charity’s delightfull
blue-coated Battersea dogs who are looking for new homes offer
distinguished guests a fantastic welcome from the red carpet. This will
be followed by an exclusive champagne reception, gourmet banquet
interspersed with a line-up of top billing entertainment. Revellers will
also have the opportunity to bid in one of the most exclusive auctions
with an array of luxury prizes donated by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home supporters.
Underlying the celebration is the more serious business of raising funds to ensure Battersea Dogs & Cats Home continues its vital rescue and rehoming work.
