Silvia Fado has challenged the issue of painful footwear by designing shoes equipped with hydraulic rings, pneumatics, hinges, springs and rubber balls that are all designed to work with your body's natural motion rather than against it. Thus, inventing a comfortable pair of heels.

Alexander Wang has made his mark on technology by creating a thermo-reactive, or heat sensitive coat that showcases a range of colours when heated up. 

Pretty cool, however also pretty expensive at $8,000 a piece.
