The increasing use of Lego in fashion design has enabled the wacky creations of stiletto shoes and wedding dresses. Here we have something even more unusual; Lego bricks used for nail art. Having the Lego parts secured to the nail allows the addition of mini-figures and accessories.

There are 300 million people in the developing nations that do not own a pair of shoes and the team behind Unifold are hoping to change that in the near future. Unifold is a shoe that is made from one piece of recyclable material, taking shape by folding over the cut-out pattern.
Affordable and easy to construct, Unifold could solve the world-wide shoe shortage crisis.

Vintage Oil Can Dresses
Artist Donna McCullough uses vintage gas oil cans to create sculpural dresses embellished with flourishes of wire mesh, screening, cut-outs and bits of found objects. In this series of works titled "The Drill Team" McCullough winkingly exploits cheerleader stereotypes creating pieces that are a whimsical take on our oil-driven culture and our passion to be members of a winning team.
